Simplify the function f(t) = sinh(ln(t)).

Can you remind me what sinh(x) is in terms of "e", the natural number?

sinh(ln(t)) = (1/2)e^(ln(t)) - (1/2)e^(-ln(t)) But e^(ln(t)) is just t, and -ln(t) = ln(1/t) (power rule), so e^(-ln(t)) = 1/t sinh(ln(t)) = (1/2)t - (1/2)(1/t)

\[ \large = \frac{t}{2} - \frac{1}{2t}\] \[\large = \frac{t^2 - 1}{2t}\]

I was just think about that!!! parenthesis for the denominator: (t^2-1)/(2t)
