C16H34+O2 -> CO2+H2O how many CO2 kg is produced and what is the molar ratio with 0.7 g/ml as density?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I already did it, I just want to make sure I did it correctly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm It also says 10 gallons of diseal fuel C16 H34 I didnt use the 10 gallons…now im confused.

OpenStudy (preetha):

You have 10 gallons of diesel fuel, density is 0.7g/ml. Convert 10 gal to ml. Then calculate the g of C16H34 in this volume (use density) Then convert g to mole Balance the equation Use stoichiometry to calculate CO2 produced in moles Convert to kg using molar mass of CO2. Voila!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay ill try it again. Want to do it as well, and compare answers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i got 0.003091245 mol C16H34
