how do you find the derivative of this equation? (attached)

\[P(t) = \frac{ 300 }{ 1+2^4-t }\] that should be ^(4-t) :\
\[\large P(t)=\frac{ 300 }{ 1+2^{4-t} }=300(1+2^{4-t})^{-1}\] Hmmm if you rewrite the denominator with a negative exponent maybe it will make it a little easier to approach c: We'll still have to apply the chain rule after we take the derivative of the outside though :O
okay. but how do i take the derivative of (1+2^(4-t))?
