I subtracted 4x from both sides first, then divided by 6 to get y be itself
well im screwed then cause thats all i know how to do
because it is >= and not just > the line will be solid instead of dashed. This means that the solution can be anywhere on this line, hence the >"=". Now to graph the > part we need to shade above or below the line. This is because all of those points are also possible solutions. So let's think should we shade above or below?

Firstly pretend that there is not an inequality sign and make it an = sign.

Get the equation in slope-intercept form. y = mx + b a) Keep the inquality sign constant through the problem b) If you have to divide by a negative number the inequality sign flips 2. Graph the line a) if the sign is < or > then the line will be dashed meaning the solution is not part of the line b) if the sign is <= or >= then the line will be solid meaning the solution is part of the line 3. Shade above or below the line, start on the y-axis a) if y>x you shade above. This means that all the y values greater than this line are possible solutions b) if y<x you shade below. This means that all the y values less than this line are possible solutions
