What is the net ionic equation for this reaction? AgNO3 (aq) with Ba(OH)2 (aq)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ag+(aq) + OH-(aq) -> AgOH(s)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What happens to the Ba?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's spectator ion, so it's left out of the equation. When you mix them you'll see a black precipitate. Ba ion didn't react at all. The same goes with NO3-

Oh okay got it, thanks so much
