Please help explain the steps to this question for me.

Find the derivative y' of the function by the equation \[e^{xy}=2(x+y)\]

i am up to this point: \[e^{xy}(xy'+y)=2+2y'\]

my prof has this done out and his next step confuses me.. it looks like this: \[xe^{xy}y'+ye^{xy}=2+2y'\]

yu shud have done the logarithmic step at first then take the derivatives on both sides in that way u get rid of the e
