how much energy would an electron acquire if it moved through a potential difference of 100kV?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

E = eV where e is electron charge is equal to 1.67 x 10^-19. and V is potential different

great! thank you :)

i have one more...what is the force per meter of lenght on a wire carrying a .5A current due to a .5 tesla-magnetic field?

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

Answer is very simple in natural units: Energy will be 100 keV

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use \[F = BIL \] for that one, but you will solve for \[ \frac{F}{L} \] to get the force per unit length.
