The motion of a spring-mass system is described by y=4sin(piT-pi/4) where y is the distance in feet the equilibrium position and t is time in seconds. Find the acceleration of the mass at time t=3/4 seconds. The answer will be in pi^2 units.

they are asking you for the acceleration which is the change in velocity over change in time velocity is change in position over change in time therefore they are asking you to find the value of the second derivative when t = 3/4
so the second derivative would be: 4 Pi^2 Cos[Pi (1/4 + x)].....

so now i just plug in t=3/4 into the second derivative
