lim x->0 ln(secx) / tan^2(x), Can't use L'hospital Rule

OpenStudy (anonymous):

=1/2 (lim x->0 ln(sec^2x) / tan^2(x) =1/2 lim x->0 ln(1+tan^2(x)) / tan^2(x) as x-->0 then tan^2(x)-->0 hence 1/2 lim x->0 ln(1+tan^2(x)) / tan^2(x) =1/2 * 1=1/2
