why not any reaction gives 100% yield?
Because, we don't have the ideal conditions. It is almost impossible to keep a reaction running in an isolated system so that energy doesn't escape. There are also byproducts and unwanted products some times. Equilibrium effects the yield too.
if u can provide an ideal condition.....which u don't have.....because matter is made up of energy..and we know the famous mass energy equation of einsien..E=Mc2...so some part of mass is lost in the form of heat,light,sound,etc....but over all energy is conserved for a particular system...still u have doubt..?.pls send me ur another question..m waiting for u!!!!! thnk u!

recall theres MASS TRANSFER during a reaction, that is due to change in equilibrium, therefore an ideal condition is never established.
