-Question related to functions-
The domain of \[f(x)=\frac{ \sqrt{1-2x} }{ \sqrt{4x-1} }\]is given by interval A)(0.25,0.5) B)(0.25,0.5] C)[0.25,0.5) D)[0.25,0.5]
@satellite73 @surdawi Please Help me Soon!
What about other viewers. They should ignore your question?
@waterineyes Help please !
@chaguanas I never said that.
Denominator should not be 0..
\[\sqrt{4x-1} \ne 0\] Find x from here...
@waterineyes \[x \neq0.25\]
@waterineyes What next ?
So, now C and D option get cancel.. A and B left as options...
Yeah so how do i know which one is the answer ?
Also \(4x-1 \ge 0\) So : \(x \ge 0.25\) But it should not be equal so : \(x > 0.25\)
I got this ^
Because term inside square root must not be negative.. It must be positive: Similarly: \[1-2x \ge 0 \implies 2x \le 1 \implies x \le 0.5\]
So : What should be the answer can you tell??
SO A ?
Its A its A Final Answer :D @waterineyes
A or B??
A
Open bracket means the number is excluded and closed bracket means number should be included.. Here 0.5 is to be included and 0.25 should be excluded.. Now tell me again carefully..
Then B is the answer.Thanks Alot. I got it
Right... You are welcome dear...
