pls...help me.... Alex is given the opportunity to do an experiment at the stanford particle Accelerator,USA. During one of this experiment, he detected to creation of a (simbol omega) particle.From his calculation ,the (simbol omega) particle has rest energy 1672MeV and Total energy 2330MeV. A) he wrote a nota in his laboratory book: mean lifetime of (simbol omega) particle =8.2 x 10^11s is this value correct ? justify your answer.

(a) Because almost all of the energy of the gammy ray is provided by the rest mass of the particles. (b) Look up the mass in MeV of the electron (the positron has the same mass), and then use E = mc^2 to find the rest energy, then use the Planck relation (E = hv) to compute the frequency of the photon.
