how many atoms are in one level teaspoon of salt?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Look up the density of salt, and convert from volume to mass. Then divide by the formula mass of NaCl to find the number of moles of NaCl formula units. Multiply by Avogadro's number to convert from moles to number of formula units. Multiply by 2 because there are two atoms (Na and Cl) in each formula unit.
