question inside :)
|dw:1353461289646:dw|
this is the question, in case my handwriting/drawing is hard to see :P
answer choices A,B,C,D from top to bottom :)
5x
how'd u get that? :O
im not quite sure if i am understanding this right, but did u just make the 5x not an exponent, so that takes out the ln, so you get e=5x ?? idk is that right?
ln is a natural log which 'undoes' the exponential function with 'e' as a base so basically ln(e^x) = x and e^[ ln(x) ] = x which tells you that f(x) = ln(x) and g(x) = e^x are inverse functions
okay, wait so my answer is ln(x) ? or is it ln(5x) ?
no i'm just saying in general
wait scratch that... there is no ln(5x) haha my bad... or is it just 5x ?
ohhh okay :P i see
in my example, replace each 'x' with '5x'
okay :) so my answer is B. 5x because of that? since e=x ? and x = 5x ?
is that right? since u said e=x right?
you are correct, and no i didn't say e = x
not sure where you got that
oops sorry! i meant this: e^[ ln(x) ] = x lol :P and okay great!! thanks!! :)
i gotcha
