\[\huge \sqrt[3]{4}\cdot \sqrt[3]{16}\]Hopefully it's a little easier to read this way :) Did I write that correctly?
yup
We can combine these roots since they have the same degree (3 in this case).\[\huge \sqrt[3]{4\cdot 16}\]From here, you might have noticed that 16 is 4*4, let's write it that way.\[\huge \sqrt[3]{4\cdot 4\cdot 4}\]
\[\huge 4\cdot4\cdot4 \qquad \text{is the same as} \qquad 4^3\]So we can write our problem like this,\[\huge \sqrt[3]{4^3}\]
So we have the cube root of something cubed. Those two operations will essentially "cancel" each other out.\[\huge \sqrt[3]{4^3} \qquad \rightarrow \qquad 4\]
