Suppose 1.01 g of FeCl3 is placed in a 10.0 mL volumetric flask, water is added, the mixture is shaken to dissolve the solid, and then the water is added to calibration mark of the flask. How would I calculate the mortality of each ion present in the solution?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[1.01grams of FeCl3 \times \frac{ 1moleofFeCl3 }{ 164gramsofFeCl3 }= 0.0061 moles ofFECl3\] I manage to convert the mass into moles, but I'm not quite sure I am correct.
