To integral tan^2 x, is it possible to change it to in terms of sin and cos and solve ?

opps nvm, just realize i got the same answer with using 1 + tan^x = sec^2x

how about writing it like\[\tan^2 x=1+\tan^2 x-1\]and using the fact that \[\frac{d}{dx}(\tan x)=1+\tan^2 x\]
