Which of the following statements is true? A. Chemical reaction rates vary with the conditions of the change, but nuclear decay rates do not. B. Nuclear decay rates vary with the conditions of the change, but chemical reaction rates do not. C. Both chemical reaction rates and nuclear decay rates vary with the conditions of the change. D. Neither chemical reaction rates nor nuclear decay rates vary with the conditions of the change.
do you know what a nuclear decay is?
kinda
kinda? :P.. have you heard that nuclear decay is a "spontaneous phenomenon" ? thats one of the most awesome properties of radioactivity!!.. its rate DOES NOT DEPEND ON ANYTHINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.... activity of 1gram of radium is always ALWAYYYYYYYSSSSSSSSSSSSSS 1 curie... REGARDLESS OF whether hell breaks LOOSE or not!.... so taht should answer your question :P
A
i was trying to ease into it :-/
lol :) Thanks to both of you
chemical reactions depend highly on temperature.. some are so sensitive that the products are highly based on at what temperature you carry out the reactions.. else you would get some other products.. i can't give examples.. cause i hate chemistry :P.. and i dunno much!..
i can give examples you have to heat water to dissolve more nacl in itthat is chemical reaction. . . and in case of nuclear decay it occurs on sun surface as well on earth so temperature doent affects it. . .
Thanks smarties :)
sure thanx :)
