With what speed must the car travel such that the force that it exerts on the road at point B is 600N? Point B is a top of a hill that is in the shape of a circle with radius 100meters. The car weighs 200N. How do I set this up? I know the answer is 26.2m/s
note: this is not really possible unless the car is travelling into the road. there is no vertical component of that velocity
?? i think it has something to do with centripetal forces. So something like v^2/r (which is the acceleration. But i dont really know
oh lol. i didn't notice the circle part. if so, the force acting on the road will be \(F_c =\frac{ v^2}{r}\) plug it all in.
note that: \(F_c =F_g-F_N\) in this case.
