if reaction is carried out at higher temperature, how would the value of rate constant change?

Generally speaking as temperature increases, so does the rate of the reaction. This is because as you increase temperature, the molecules hit each other more. Since they need to hit each other to react, this causes the rate of reaction to increase! =D

OpenStudy (kainui):

And by that, I mean the rate constant will increase as well, naturally.
