how you find all of the real and complex zeros of x^3+216?

OpenStudy (raden):

first, if u plug x=-6 it will gives (-6)^3+216=0 it means one of the root is x=-6 or one of the factor of binom is (x+6). then use synthetic division to get quotient and from there we can determine the other roots by using quadratic formula.... try it

is the answer 3+3i sqrt{6) and 3-3i sqrt{6}?

OpenStudy (raden):

it should be -6, (3+3isqrt(3)), (3-3isqrt(3))
