Find the molar mass of AgNO3 given the following atomic masses: AG = 107.9 u, N = 14.01 u, O = 16.00 u. Remember to round to proper significant figures
What formula(s) relate to this question?
\[AgNO _{3}\]
No, 'mathematical' formulas.
nope all the info I was given is in the question above
You don't have a formula sheet? Or liek a textbook with the formulas?
What it has is an example problem but I don't see any formula. Do you want the example problem?

Something like that?
I don't have anything like that. O_o
oh.
Anyways, first add all the atomic masses together (do remember to multiply oxygen's atomic mass by 3 though, because there are 3 oxygen molecules in each AgNO3 molecule).
Wait, is that all you do? I forgot.
so . 107.9 + 14.01 x 16.00(3) = 169.91
you don't have to multiply the value of oxygen to the 'main body'. just multiply it by 3, then add it to the others.
that was supposed to be an addition sign sorry 107.9 + 14.01 + 48 = 169.91
good enuff.
We clear now? You know why the oxygen molecule was multiplied by 3?
yup
awesome. SMOKEBOMB. POOf. NOTTIM AWAYYYY
