lim (lnx) as x approaches to infinity

OpenStudy (experimentx):

goes to infinity!!!

OpenStudy (hba):

\[\lim_{x \rightarrow \infty} lnx\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'd love the solution iknow that it's goes to infinity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup yup that it

OpenStudy (hba):

\[\infty \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I already know the answer hba bt as a favor would u show me the steps

OpenStudy (hba):

Just apply log lol :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hahhaha come on i'm dying here

OpenStudy (experimentx):

\[ \log \infty = \infty \]

OpenStudy (hba):

\[\ln (\infty)=\infty \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's it

OpenStudy (hba):

Believe us,That is it :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is a reasonable question, after all the log grows very slowly what you have to do it show that for any number \(N\) you can find an \(x\) so that \(\log(x)>N\) not too hard, since you can pick \(x>e^N\) and that \(x\) will work merry christmas etc.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thaaaaaaanks alot i'm muslim so wish u have a blessed one

OpenStudy (hba):

You are welcome As-salam-o- Alaikum :)
