predicting products of chemical reactions: hydrogen peroxide catalyzed by manganese dioxide?

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

H2O2 is unstable and will undergo a disproportionation reaction. It will be oxidised to... and reduced to....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what would be the equation then? H(OH2)+MnO-->HO+Mn(OH)2?

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

No! MnO2 is a catalyst: it does not appear in the equation. Only H2O2 is the reagent. Unbalanced equation is: H2O2 -> H20 + 02(g)
