\[\large{t^2+6t\over t-1}-{7\over t-1}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is apparently \(t-7\) but i dont get how..im sure my brain's just not working but i still dont get it..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(t+7\)*

OpenStudy (ash2326):

\[\large{t^2+6t\over t-1}-{7\over t-1}\] \[\frac{t^2+6t-7}{t-1}\] Now factor the numerator, do you know how to do that? @yummydum

OpenStudy (anonymous):

After you subtract, the top factors as (t-1)(t+7)/(t-1) t-1 cancels

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see i told you i was being stupid... thanks @ash2326 and @CalebBeavers i see it now..forgot to put them under one denominator before factoring

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Glad to help :D
