Ionization energy is a measure of how difficult it is to remove an electron from an atom. In general, atoms with few valence electrons "dont' mind" losing them, where atoms with several valence electrons "don't want" to lose them, since they're close to being full. The atoms with the highest IE will always be on the right hand side of the periodic table
Oh wait, I think I got it. Up and Right is the highest. So...ranking them would look like from highest to lowest might look like: Ne, F, O, N, C, B, Be, Li. Would this be correct?
