Based on Le Chatelier's principle, how does an equilibrium system behave when "stress" is applied to the system? Give examples of such "stresses"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Le Chatelier's states that when an equilibrium system is exposed to stress, the system will attempt to counteract that stress and return to equilibrium. For example, if you increase the temperature, the system will attempt to reduce the temperature. If you increase the concentration of the reactants, the system will attempt to reduce the concentration of the reactants.
