balance the equations using the correct coefficients then write a sentence for each equation using the correct chemical name. 5. ___KNO3 (s) → ___KNO2 (s) + ___O2 (g) 6. _____ Fe (s) + _____ H2SO4 (aq) → _____ Fe2(SO4)3 (s) + _____ H2 (g)
seriously??? 2 KNO3 (s) → 2 KNO2 (s) + 1 O2 (g) 2 Fe (s) + 3 H2SO4 (aq) → 1 Fe2(SO4)3 (s) + 6 H2 (g)
i know how to balance im just confused with making up a sentence..
write the name of the reagent e.g. KNO3 then mention what it's doing (eg. being oxidized) then mention products formed
i think they want the full name potassium nitrate not KNO3 to see if you know the names. so, two molecules of potassium nitrate reacts for form 2 molecules of potassium nitrite and a molecule of oxygen.
I'm aware of that, i was trying to not give her the answer.
okay but now how would i make up a sentence for the second one?
use the same format, find the names of the reagents and products
