Yes, i know that. But i need help, step-by-step, on how to actually do the problem.

Use the "y=10 when x= 2" info to find k:\ \[ (10) = k(2) \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Once you have k use: \[ y = k(-6) \]To find \(y\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So y is -30?
