Can somebody help me make a truth table.
im about to insert the chart

you mean it is the truth table in computer science? I know how to write the truth table in Math only. sorry I waste your time
No its in math.
so? the array of numbers you give out seems meaningless. do you take discrete math?
The assignment name is Determining Logical Equivalence
2. Construct and complete a truth table in order to determine if the following statements are logically equivalent: p → q and ~q → ~p 3. Explain in the box below if the statement [p ∧ (p → q)] → q is a tautology or not. 4. Explain in the box below if the statements p → q and ~q → ~p are logically equivalent or not. These Are the Questions
ok I got it. wait I have to write down in a chart and then attach it for you
okay thank you
okay what does this mean?
YOU study it in class already , right? it the way how to make truth table and consider whether it is tautology or not
I didnt really Understand it at all.
could you see the graph i made
you have to give the values to p and q. and combine them. to have the completely combination, you have to give 2 values true (T) , 2 value false (F)for p and the same thing for p. but the order must be like what i send . it means for p : TTFF and for q TFTF and then combine them
so are p → q and ~q → ~p logically equivalent?
and [p ∧ (p → q)] → q is a tautology
ok, your professor give the value of p and q by using T and F or 1 and 0. if he give you the notation is T and F, mine is completely right, if he give you 1 and 0 then you just replace T =1 and F =0 the result is the same
sure, since they give out the same result in the truth table
Yes for second question, it is tautology. you must understand why it goes there.
But how am I to Explainif the statements p → q and ~q → ~p are logically equivalent
