PLEASE HELP! Find the sum of the geometric sequence 4/3, 16/3, 64/3, 256/3, 1024/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@akidnamedericv do u know what is common ratio of above given sequence?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@niksva 4/1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool apply the formula for the sum which is S = a* (1-r^n) divided by (1-r) where a= first term of the sequence n = number of terms r= common ratio just plug in the values

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@niksva is this the formula? \[s= \frac{ a(1-r^n) }{ (1-r) }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@akidnamedericv yup
