how low must the atmospheric pressure be for liquid a to boil at 35 degrees Celsius. the graph is a line with the axis vapor pressure(torr) and temperature degrees celcius.

I just want to find out how to figure it out.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Depends on what type of liquid. At standard atmospheric pressure (1 atmosphere = 0.101325 MPa), water boils at around 100 Celsuis.

i think i got the answer for that question. could u help me on this one? How do i find a normal boiling point?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The normal boiling point of a liquid can be found when the vapor pressure of the liquid equals the atmospheric pressure at sea level (generally 1 atmosphere).

Hope this helps :)
