N
One Newton is defined as one kg.m/s^2 1 N = 1 kg.m/s^2
ok but there is this physics problem concerning the force of a bacteria....my teacher's answer was in kgm/s but most of the students in the class put N! what to do?
I'm sure he/she meant to write kg.m/s^2, as kg.m/s is NOT a unit of force.
ok then i will write it your way..is it 2 or -2?

\[ \frac{kg.m}{s^2} = kg.m.s^{-2} \] This comes from Newton's second law, \[ F = ma \] The units of mass, m, is kg. The units of acceleration a, is m/s^2. Hence the units of force is kg.m/s^2
excellent!! thank you!|dw:1359674319081:dw|
