Please Help! I drew a picture already! From a boat on the lake, the angle of elevation to the top of a cliff is 18°41'. If the base of the cliff is 991 feet from the boat, how high is the cliff (to the nearest foot)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{cliff}{991}=\tan(18.68)\] \[cliff =991\times \tan(18.68)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the cliff is 335.05 ft tall?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let me check
