\[-2(x^2-2x+1)=36\] \[x^2-2x+1=-18\] \[x^2-2x+19\] \[x=\frac{ 2\pm \sqrt{4-76} }{ 2 }\] \[x=\frac{ 2\pm \sqrt{-72} }{ 2 }\] \[x=\frac{ 2\pm i\sqrt{72} }{ 2 }\] \[x=\frac{ 2\pm 6i\sqrt{2} }{ 2 }\] \[x=1\pm 3i\sqrt{2}\]
