Is that supposed to be \[b = (\frac{70}{3})^{1/5}\]?
Is this accurate?\[b=(\frac{70}{31})\frac{1}{5}\]
yea that the one
Yeah, that one... hmm... very narrowing...
just only curious on which button to press to get that answer 1.88
how to compute b=(70/3)^1/5 into b≈1.88 on a calculator I only this anw :4.66666666667 which button do I press
@Brielshield You understand that the button you press is determined by the term you are wanting to input?
Okay, if you have log functions, you can take the log of (70/33), divide by 5, and take the antilog. If you have a y^x key (or similar), you divide 70/33, then use the y^x key and put (1/5) as the exponent
yea, but for some reason I get this asnwer 4.66666666667
ok
Did you get the right answer this time?
yea, I got little confuse on the usage of the calculator since I rarely use them that much. Sorry for this simple task and thank you for your support. whpalmer
Yeah, it's a bit frustrating to try to help people use their calculator - you never know what kind of calculator they have, and what buttons it has, etc. if you're ever stuck without a calculator, there's a nice one on the web at http://web2.0calc.com/
Thanks, Whpalmer.
