ill just say it a different way. g=-2f(x) so if we look at any point for f(x) then there is a point for g(x) where the y value has been multiplied by -2

so g(x)=-2f(x)=-2y so you multiply the y values for f(x) by -2, but keep the same x values. so pick a point off of f(x).

You have a graph of f(x). It is the dark one. Pick one of those dark dots on the dark line. They have coordinates. (x,y) pick one and tell me the coordinates.

right! so they are (x,y) and we know g(x)=-2f(x). When you multiply a function(f(x)) by a constant it is like multiplying the y numbers by -2.
