How many grams of ZnSO4 will be made from 50grams of Zn and 50grams of K2Cr2O7? 4Zn + K2Cr2O7 + 7H2SO4=4ZnSO4 + 2CrSO4 + K2SO4 + 7H2O

hint: use stoichiometry

This might be a limiting reagent as well. So you have to find out how many grams of ZnSO4 will be created from the 50 grams of Zn and then do a separate calculation for how much will be created from 50 grams of K2Cr2O7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Here is the first one to get you started 50g Zn x 1mol zn/(grams of Zn in one mol)x4 molZnSO4/1 mol Zn x (grams of ZnSO4 in one mole)/1 mol ZnSO4

Then you replace zn with K2Cr2O7 throughout and whichever gives you the lowest yield is the answer
