i need a little help i do not get this at all? A student made the table below to show the steps to prove that DC is equal to EC... A. Provide the missing statement and justification in the proof. B. Using complete sentences, explain why the proof would not work without the missing step
What letters do DC and EC share? Then plug in numbers for D, C, and E.. and then show DC = EC --> Plug your numbers into that equation (DC = EC)
what do you mean numbers?
Oh. I thought it was a simple proof.. this may take a little longer lol.
lol
im kinda struggling wiht the proofs and stuff like idk how to decide what goes next
It's been years since I have done proofs.. I can't remember exactly what is what. All I know is, if two lines (DC) and (EC) share a letter (C) they will be the same. Proofs are long and annoying. See if you can read up on a bunch of example proofs, eventually you will get there. Sorry.
ok thanks for trying anywya:)
@Hero could you help?
ok?
7. angle aCE = angle BCD That's what I meant
You still have to figure out the reason
okay thank you sorry my internet is screwing up
is it the alternate interior angles theorem?
