Please help me evaluate the following integral (click to see).

OpenStudy (babyslapmafro):

\[\int\limits_{}^{}\sin^2(5x)dx\]

OpenStudy (zehanz):

You have to use the formula for cos 2x: cos2x=1-2sin²x, so 2sin²x=1-cos2x, sin²x = ½-½cos2x. You've got a sin²(5x), so write the formula as: sin²(5x)=½-½cos(10x) Now you can easily find the antiderivative...

OpenStudy (zehanz):

@Babyslapmafro: does this help you enough?

OpenStudy (babyslapmafro):

Yes I will try again
