OpenStudy (osuxbucks15):

please help what is the volume of 3.01 x 10^24 molecules of SO2.... is it 1.12 x 10^48?

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

Hint: SO2 is a gas.

OpenStudy (abb0t):

How did you get 1.12E48? Can you show your steps or work?

OpenStudy (preetha):

What temp and Pressure?

OpenStudy (preetha):

If you had the conditions of T and P, then you would plug that into PV=nRT and calculate V. If you had STP, Standard temp and P you could use the relationship. 1 mole at STP occupies 22.4 L.
