3rd one

to get answer plug in x=4

what about this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since b=1 also its given that a=4 (x axis intecept) the equation of hyperbola opening horizantaly centered at the origin is \[\Large \frac{x^2}{a^2}-\frac{y^2}{b^2}=1\] just put a=4 and b=1 to get the equation
