*MEDAL WILL BE AWARDED* Calculate the mass of Na2CO3 (s) needed to produce 240 ml of carbon dioxide from 2 mol/dm3 ethanoic acid (CH3COOH)

OpenStudy (aaronq):

omgz a medal so write an equation, balance it convert 240 mL of CO2 gas to moles (ps. 1 mole= 22.414 L) use the coefficients to find how many moles of Na2CO3 you need in this manner: if, aA + bB <-> cC ..... moles of A/a=moles of C/c then convert to mass of Na2CO3 moles=mass/molar mass ps. disregard the density of acetic acid, it's just there to throw you off

OpenStudy (itiaax):

Thannk you so much! :)
