Question 7 answers

OpenStudy (lazyboy):

ups

OpenStudy (lazyboy):

made a mistake give me a minute

OpenStudy (lazyboy):

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

This time, you keep multiplying a factor of sqrt(2).

OpenStudy (lazyboy):

ah I don't get it in here so I will do this one my own lol :D

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Well, if I were to ask my ten year old self, I'd say put in the 2 with a check sign, and then double, then put in the two with a check sign, then double again :D

OpenStudy (lazyboy):

I put in the wrong thing that is one of the answers

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Oh. But did I somehow deduce the pattern from one of the answers? I bet the sequence went... \[\huge \sqrt{2} \ , \ 2 \ , \ 2\sqrt{2} \ , \ 4\]

OpenStudy (lazyboy):

yeah

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

<smug look>

OpenStudy (lazyboy):

:D

OpenStudy (lazyboy):

so what do u think would be the answer?

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

I told you, it seems to be a Geometric Series... Every term is the previous term multiplied by sqrt(2)

OpenStudy (lazyboy):

this?

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Assuming the sequence went as I said, then yes, I'd go for that :D

OpenStudy (lazyboy):

ok thx :D
