The combustion of a 2.00 g sample of a compound that contained only carbon, hydrogen and oxygen yielded 4.550g of CO2 and 1.858 g of H2O. if the molecular weight of the compound is 116.16 g/mol, what is the molecular formula of this compound? I thought I could do this ... but I guess I don't know how?? ... Please explain if you can
