Lab Question. In Lab we are given a tablet made from NaHCO3 (and some other compounds) The tablet reacts in Acetic Acid and CO2(g) evolves. We can easily find the mass of CO2 produced by taking a difference. We are then asked to find the amount of NaHCO3 consumed. Once that is found we are asked to find the "percent mass of reacted NaHCO3 in tablet" after performing several runs with varying amounts of acetic acid. What do you take this last part to mean. I cant tell if I am supposed to give % of NaHCO3/total NaHCO3 or % of NaHCO3/total tablet mass.
