Ok I need some assistance please... given balanced equation: SiO2(s) + 3C(s) SiC(s) + 2CO(g) given mole SiO2 is 3 find mol of C, molSiC, molCO

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Please help.. I believe I would have to balance the equation but not sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah I would think you just need to balance it .. did you add the 3 before C and 2 to CO2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or is that the original equation they gave you ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's the original problem given...I like to know how I go about solving the moles of the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmm. I'm not sure. If there was no coefficient then that would be a simple balancing problem... but I'm not sure on this one. I'm sorry.

its all right thanks...Ill wait if someone can help
