why are these equal\[-2(1,1) \times \frac{ 1 }{\sqrt{2} }(1,1,)=-\sqrt{2}(1+1)=-2\sqrt{2}\]?
thats not dot product

those are vectors. disregard the comma with no number behind it. thats a typo
