Half-life is a measure of the rate of decay of an isotope. (1 point) true false ----------- If two atoms have the same number of protons but different numbers of neutrons, they will have the same ____. (1 point) half-life mass number atomic number degree of stability -------------------- pretty sure its true...and atomic number...thnks
Q:Half-life is a measure of the rate of decay of an isotope. A: TRUE
@some_someone Your first answer was right. I'm looking at your second answer now. When we look at elements on the Periodic Table, we see two different numbers: Atomic NUMBER and Atomic MASS. The ATOMIC NUMBER is the number of PROTONS/ELECTRONS. The ATOMIC MASS is the number of PROTONS AND NEUTRONS, TOGETHER. If two atoms have different numbers of NEUTRONS, they're not going to have the same atomic mass.
THE FIRST ANSWER SHOULDNT BE RIGHT @inyourhead I DONT THINK SO
Half life is the measure of the decay rate of an isotope. That's true.
