if it requires 48.3 milimeters of .55 molar nitric to neutralize 15 millimeters of barium hydroxide solve for the morality of the barium hydroxide solution unbalanced equation Ba(OH2) + HNO3 = Ba(NO3)2 + H2O show all work.... I cannot figure this one out can someone explain it to me

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Start by writing out the balanced chemical equation. To find molarity you need 1. moles 2. volume. You already have have the volume (in Liters) of Barium hydroxide. You need number of moles. To find number of moles of HNO3 used. moles = conc x vol Refer to yoyr balanced equation which shows the numerical values you use for conversion. Finally, when you have number of moles and volume of Ba(OH)2 you can find it's concetration.
